Como algunas sabéis, el baile flamenco es una de mis grandes pasiones, llevo dedicandome a ello toda mi vida y no me imagino ni un segundo sin él!! Quiero presentaros algunos secretos del backstage de nuestra última actuación que fue el pasado domingo día 17 en el Teatro Darymelia de Jaén. Bailamos acompañando a la cantaora Raquel Morey que presentaba su nuevo disco.
Siempre que llegamos al teatro nos ponemos muy nerviosas, las luces, el suelo, la gente, los aplausos... pero en cuanto salimos al escenario y oimos las primeras notas los nervios se quedan en otra parte!!
As some of you know, flamenco dancing is one of my passions, I've been dedicating myself to it all my life and I can´t imagine a second without it! I want to introduce some of the backstage secrets of our last performance. It was last Sunday 17 at the Darymelia Theatre of Jaen. We dance to accompany the singer Rachel Morey presenting her new album.
Everytime we go to the theater we are very nervous, lights, floor, people, the applause ... but once we hit the stage and we hear the first notes the nerves gone!
Primero, cuando entramos en el teatro, hacemos un ensayo en el escenario para probar las luces, el suelo, la música... Después vamos a los camerinos y allí comienza la transformación radical!!
First, when we entered the theater, we trial the stage to test the lights, the floor, the music ... Then we go backstage and radical transformation begins here!
Despues nos ayudamos las unas a las otras a peinarnos y maquillarnos. Como veis llevo un moño postizo ya que tengo el pelo corto, a que no se nota???
Then, we help to each other to have our hair and make-up. As you see I wear a hairpiece bun because I have short hair.
Despues de todo el lío solo queda vestirnos y salir a bailar!! Pronto os pondre otro post con nuestra proxima actuación que será el Jueves 28 de Junio en el Teatro Infanta Leonor de Jaén, y esta vez os pondré fotos mientras bailamos en el escenario!!

No quisiera despedirme sin mandar un besazo enorme a mis compañeras de baile, Ana, Carmen, Rosa, Noelia, Yolanda y Jessica. Y por supuesto no me puedo olvidar de mi profesor Carlos, del que he aprendido muchisimo!!
